If you caught the slate of official Daytime Emmy nominees on today's edition of ABC's talk show, "The View," you saw a couple shades of "Santa Barbara." Among those getting nods, in anticipation of the 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards:- Kim Zimmer, once Jodie Walker on "SB" and now Reva Lewis on CBS' "Guiding Light," also nominated for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.
- Robert Newman, one of the Kirk Cranstons on "SB" and now Zimmer's co-star as Josh Lewis on "Guiding Light," nominated for outstanding lead actor in a drama series.
Congratulations to all nominees! White Cherry Entertainment will produce the Daytime Emmy Awards, to air live on the ABC Television Network from Hollywood's Kodak Theater, home of the Academy Awards®, on Friday, April 28. This will mark the first time the Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast from Hollywood in the 33-year history of the ceremonies.
