Announcing the new BillieRae.com, and a very special photo project

It's a special day here in BRBland, and a special day calls for a special announcement. Tell me, how do you finish the following sentence ... "Life begins at ________"?????

Yes, that's right. Today, I officially mark "Year 40." And in honor of that (!), and all that entails (!!!!!), I'm launching not only a brand-new look for my site BillieRae.com, but also a photo project that I began in January and will continue rolling out all year long.

The new BillieRae.com features some original art by longtime Archie Comics artist Dan DeCarlo, as well as a new feature on my very first "books" and "newspapers" of the '70s, and a glimpse at my third novel, due next year:

"Year 40 -- The Photo Shoots: My Mother's Clothing" is a very long name for a very simple tribute to the legacy of garments -- all reflecting a magnificent zest for life -- that my mother stuck away in boxes for years:
