What an interesting premise for a TV show -- a bunch of puppets running their own TV show. That was "The Muppet Show," an outgrowth of a series everyone grew up with, "Sesame Street." Jim Henson's Muppets aired in the evening, though, capturing also a wide adult audience in its original run from 1976 to 1981. And one of the stars of that show, voiced and operated by Frank Oz, was the unstoppable, French-speaking, lavender-wearing, karate-chopping Miss Piggy.

Loved the muppets. One song that haunts me is from I think dr. Teeth " ma na min na" not sure if that's spelled right!
