She's pretty and she's perfectly poisonous. She's Poison Ivy, and she got good play on the "Batman: The Animated Series" of the 1990s. It's that incarnation of this femme Batman villain that this 2004 Barbie doll by Mattel plays on. I absolutely LOVE this doll so much. She's one of those Barbies that I remember seeing in stores, and I wanted to buy her...... then just didn't. A friend did get me the Wonder Woman from this series, and by the time I went back to get myself Poison Ivy, of course it was too late, I never saw her again. I must agree, those boots are just magnificent -- I'm not sure I've ever seen a nicer pair on a Barbie before. Her face sculpt and makeup is gorgeous, and I really, really, REALLY wish I had one to display with my WW! I also must say that I love the straighter brushed out hair a LOT better than the kind of curly ends she originally had.
That is so fun that you remember seeing her on store shelves, and that you did get the WW. Yea, the hair is so luscious, LOL.
