The official website of the Green Hornet has gotten a sleek new look, as just announced by Mary Kay Johnston in The Black Beauty (the 1966 Green Hornet) and The Green Hornet Vintage Toys Facebook groups. Mary Kay's grandfather was George Trendle, a creator of the Green Hornet character and producer of the 1966 TV series of the character, and Mary Kay serves as board VP of Green Hornet Inc.
Called "The Green Hornet and Kato" with a nod to the superstardom of co-star Bruce Lee, the new site features a history of the characters as well as a list of current licensees, including this author and "Let's Roll, Kato: A Guide to TV's Green Hornet." There's a new movie being considered for the characters, and an animated series has been mentioned lately, too, so how timely to see a new official website, too!
