Imagine this author's surprise, driving through the small town of Lakeview, Michigan, yesterday for a library event, and happening upon this little gem at a strip mall just off the highway.
So sweet. I was on my way to the event and couldn't stop when I spotted it, but at the end of the afternoon, I decided to pull into the strip mall and take a photo. But then that "open today" placard was sitting out there, so inviting. Yes, I had to go in. And yes, they do actually sell denim Daisy Dukes! Along with a whole lot of other clothing and houseware items. Catherine Bach of our beloved "Dukes of Hazzard" would certainly be delighted. If she ever comes up this way, she's gotta pose for a photo in front of the store!
