James Van Der Beek, whom we just spotted over the weekend in a sci-fi creature-feature, is one of the stars of "Boy in the Box," the latest production from Al Corley, our own original Steven Carrington of "Dynasty." Josh Lucas and Jessica Chastain also star in the drama, scheduled for release next year.
The film is directed by Anders Anderson and written by Glenn Taranto.
Fellow "Dynasty" caster Ken Howard, meanwhile, is filming "Grey Gardens," also scheduled for 2008 release. He plays Phelan Beale in the drama about the eccentric aunt and first cousin of Jackie Kennedy. The film stars Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange.
