TNT offers a yummy video tour of the new "Dallas"

Ooooh, it's so lush and wonderful, this new take on our beloved Ewings of "Dallas." And indeed, TNT's "next generation" approach of the show that originally aired from 1978 to 1991 is looking quite sophisticated and larger than life for the small screen! (Of course, so many of us have big screens nowadays, don't we?) The official site for the new series is serving up lots of fab photos and videos in anticipation of the Wednesday, June 13 premiere, so we give you a little slice ...

Another smart thing TNT has done is post a Facebook page from the perspective of J.R., and his posts on the timeline help bridge the gap between the first series' ending in 1991 and this new one's beginning more than two decades later. The fact that John Ross dropped off the radar for a while is interesting (and the idea of him wildcatting -- even more so!!!! thanks so much, TNT, for remaining true to the original!), as well as the setup for the love triangle of our two beautiful boys and Elena Ramos. We'll be updating our character guide in "Destination: Dallas," for sure, and we can't wait to see what happens in June!
