Now, you can't see 'em very well, but those are stars-and-bars centerpieces on the wheel covers. Coolness. (It was dark outside when we got this shot, around midnight after the track closed.)
Donnie lives in Loganville now, but at the time when "The Dukes" originally filmed in Georgia in 1978, he was living in Conyers, one of the show's filming sites. He says he could hear some of the car chases and crazy stunts going on up and down the road.
He plans to have another "Dukes of Hazzard" night at the speedway next year, by the way. Keep an eye on the website.
