Kim Zimmer, who played Jodie Walker on "Santa Barbara" and is, of course, a longtime soaps actress, has received a nomination in this year's Daytime Emmy Awards. Zimmer is currently in her (lifelong!) role as Reva Shayne Lewis on "Guiding Light" (we all knew that whole "SB" gig was just a break from her life as Reva!).

BRBTV News Blog Blip: Aaron Spelling, the man behind "Dynasty," though no longer with us, has a grandchild. His daughter Tori Spelling just gave birth to Liam Aaron McDermott a couple days ago. Liam is the first child for Tori.
