OK, he did say, when refuting the rumors of his character Pa Kent's demise on "Smallville," that he had seen scripts of future episodes with his character in them ... And this is one of those scripts!
Pa Kent, and John Schneider of "The Dukes of Hazzard" fame, will have a return engagement on the Thursday, May 4 episode of the WB series. The episode is called "Oracle," and in it, according to the WB's press materials, Schneider shows up as the ghost of Jonathan Kent at the graveyard. He tells his son, the young Clark Kent, that Clark must kill Lionel Luthor, Lex Luthor's father, who knows the secrets of Clark's super-abilities. This, of course, causes a bit of confusion for Schneider's TV son, played by Tom Welling.
