Diahann Carroll begins new U.S. tour

Feinstein's at the Regency in Manhattan is the place to be if you want to catch our own "Dynasty" diva, Diahann Carroll, who even flexed her vocal cords on the show back then, in the '80s. The lovely songstress will open a new U.S. tour this week at Michael Feinstein's well-known New York nightclub.

Carroll brings her cabaret act to the club beginning tomorrow and performs through April 29. Showtimes are at 8:30 p.m. each Tuesday through Thursday, with 8:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday. For tickets or to learn more, visit the website for Feinstein's at the Regency:

Carroll, meanwhile, is quoted in this week's Parade magazine regarding her quite full single life these days, at age 70: "I was always married to my career," she says, "so I wasn't very good at being married." She says she doesn't believe she'll ever marry again, after marriages over the years to casting director Monte Kay, restaurateur Freddie Glusman, editor Robert DeLeon, and most famously, singer Vic Damone.

I am so excited to see this movie. I luv luv luv Julia Campbell and I saw on their web site that Bradley Styker is also in it. He was on the OC and is so so cute.
