Call Chris Coffey the coach of coaches, and call John Schneider a blur!

We reported in our January 18 post of this news blog a sort of catch-up with Christopher Coffey, who played Professor Forrester, love interest to Lucy Ewing on "Dallas." He's still teaching after all these years, we note in our interview with him in the "Destination: Dallas" reference guide. Coffey's got some neat dates coming up for his instructional seminars on coaching:

April 23-24, 2008: Mirage; Las Vegas, NV
April 28-29, 2008: InterContinental Boston; Boston, MA
May 7-8, 2008: Fairmont Dallas; Dallas, TX

You can catch up with the handsome Coffey, yourself, after all these years, with these videos, that tell a little more about what he's up to these days:

Speaking of "Dallas," check The Munster (Ind.) Times for another catch-up, or sorts, regarding the big-screen treatment of our beloved primetime soap. One of their reporters was on the scene in the Lone Star State. Hmmm ... Tommy Lee Jones? We'll have to chew on that one a bit. But Ben Stiller? Ack!

BRBTV News Blog Blip: In the continuing effort to somewhat keep up with the total high-speed chase that is John Schneider's acting career these days, we'll post the news that he'll appear in an episode of "CSI: Miami" late this month. Airing on Monday, April 28, the episode is called "Tunnel Vision," and Schneider plays a character named Charles Brighton. He's not logged into the IMDb for it, but hey, CSIfanatic says so ...

BRBTV News Blog Blip, Too: Grace Kelly in the 'Hood? Maybe so. Catch the latest installment of the yearlong "My Mother's Clothing" photo project.

RE: "CSI": If there's a picture, you know it must be true! :-)
