In honor of Halloween, the "Archie's Weird Mysteries" team reunites

Our beloved "Archie's Weird Mysteries" animated TV series was once accompanied by a great comic. Now, in a special Halloween event, the creative team behind that title is doing a signing this afternoon in New Jersey.

Visit the Comic Book Market for reunion of Archie's Weird Mysteries writer Paul Castiglia and artist Fernando Ruiz, who will appear from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Comic Book Market also will be announcing the winners of their drawing contest:
$250 grand prize
$100 second grand prize
$50 third grand prize

Two runners-up will be given $20 in store credit. There will be special discounts as well as Halloween candy! Plus, the special Archie comics "The Mystery of the Museum Sleep-In" will be given free to customers, while supplies last.

In "The Mystery of the Museum Sleep-in," the museum is a scream for Archie and Jughead! Inspired by a favorite film, the pals decide to spend a night at the museum to experience maximum spookage. And experience it they do, as statues suddenly come toward them! Are these artifacts coming to life for real, or is somebody playing the ultimate Halloween "trick" on our unsuspecting teens? The answer will leave you scared silly!

BRBTV News Blog Blip: It's a rumor at the moment, but Entertainment Weekly has John Schneider pegged to do a three-episode arc of ABC's primetime soap "Dirty Sexy Money." Between that and all the comparisons being made to our beloved "Dynasty," it's enough to make a body want to actually watch the show!
