The soaps industry has served Kabir Bedi well. Not only was he our own Farouk Ahmed, brother of Rashid Ahmed, on "Dynasty," but his role as Prince Omar Rashid of Morocco on CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" has brought him enormous fame.
Beyond that, Bedi is truly a man of the world. He talks about his acting career, which has taken him across continents and many foreign airwaves, in a new interview with The Times of India.
Right now he's involved with "Kites," a film scheduled for release next year. Shooting in New Mexico, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, the movie, described as a "dance-based romance thriller," is in both English and Hindi. Bedi portrays Bob in the movie, which comes from Anurag Basu. Read a little more about the film and the filmmaker at ScreenIndia.com.
